30% i.e. 1,20,00,000 shares were registered in Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited and Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited on November 14, 2007, and December 2, 2007, respectively for offloading of 30% i.e. 1,20,00,000 shares through the direct listing process of the company. On January 14, 2008, offloading of the company’s shares started simultaneously in both the stock markets. Later, as per the government decision, another 17% of the shares held by BPC were offloaded between July 2011 and September 2011 in the same process.
Currently, there is a Board of Directors of 9 members to manage the company. All activities of the company are carried out with the approval of the Board of Directors.
