Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has approved the initial public offering (IPO) of Genex Infosys Limited on 04 September 2018 at their board meeting. A BSEC meeting, presided over by its chairman M Khairul Hossain, approved the IPO proposal of Genex Infosys, said a BSEC press release. BSEC approved the IPO of the company to raise the capital of Tk 20 crore from the market through the Fixed price method.
According to the Financial Statement of 9th month ended on March 31, 2018, Genex Infosys’s Net Asset Value (NAV) per share stood at Tk. 15.39, whereas the Earning per Share (EPS) was Tk1.30. As per the entity’s audited financial statement for the year ended on June 30, 2017, Genex’s net asset value per share and weighted average earnings per share were Tk 13.96 and Tk 1.89 respectively. Imperial Capital Limited acted on behalf of the company’s issue manager. The company’s IPO fund will be used for expansion of call center business, repaying loans and meeting IPO expenses & IPO related other relevant expenses according to the IPO prospectus.
