Candidates will attend two admission tests. Selected 1st to 24000th candidates can participate in the primary admission test. After that, 6000 students can participate against 1215 seats of various departments in the final exam based on their primary admission test results.

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Admission Circular 2021 has been published. Like every year, this year we have updated the BUET application process, application eligibility, and detailed notification related to this.

- Interested candidates must have a minimum GPA of 4.00 on a scale of 5.00 in the grading system in SSC or equivalent exam & HSC or equivalent exam.
- SSC Passing year must be 2017/2018 & HSC Passing year must be 2020.
- The total point in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry must be 270 within 300.
- About 24000 applicants can attend the primary admission exam.
- Applicants must pass GCE “O” Level with ‘B’ grade in 5 papers (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English) and GCE “A” Level with ‘A’ grade in at least 3 subjects (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry) & ‘B’ grade in other subjects.
