BTEB Job Circular 2024. Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) is a government organization. BTEB is searching for a few highly motivated, dynamic, energetic experienced, and pro-active people to lead the energetic team.
Directorate of Technical Education is a Directorate of Technical and Madrasa Education Department under the Ministry of Education of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. It was established in 1960 to create skilled human resources through the expansion and upgradation of technical education. In the last half-century, many branches of technical education and administration have proliferated. The main functions of the department are 4 namely: human resource management, management of development activities, supervision of academic activities, and establishing links with domestic and international organizations related to technical education. The total number of government educational institutions under the department is 205. Teaching activities are conducted at three levels. Namely: Certificate Level, Diploma Level, and Degree Level. There are 149 Government Technical Schools and Colleges and 1 Vocational Teachers Training Institute at the certificate level. There are 50 polytechnic institutes at the diploma level 1 technical teachers training college and 4 engineering colleges at degree level.

Position Overview: BTEB is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Technical Education Officer. The Technical Education Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing technical education programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and facilitating the development of technical education initiatives in Bangladesh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality and relevance of technical education programs.
- Monitor and evaluate technical education institutes to ensure compliance with BTEB regulations and standards.
- Provide guidance and support to technical education institutes in curriculum development, teacher training, and infrastructure improvement.
- Collaborate with government agencies, industry partners, and educational institutions to promote technical education and address industry needs.
- Conduct research and analysis on trends and best practices in technical education to inform policy decisions and program development.
- Coordinate with regional offices and stakeholders to facilitate the effective delivery of technical education programs.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation related to technical education initiatives and activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, education, vocational training). Master’s degree preferred.
